Technology in Beauty

Being in the esthetic industry for two decades, I have seen many trends come and go, from Aromatherapy to Caviar, then there was gold and crystal facial treatment. They are great for clients looking for a relaxing holistic facial. I’m not saying that they don’t work. A long facial massage can relieve those tension lines and make skin glow for days but, is it enough for those who want to erase the wrinkles and tighten up their jowl?

Natural Vs Technology in Beauty Treatments

Like many estheticians, our mission is to help transform clients’ skin, but sometimes it’s hard to know which way to go. Some clients don’t have the patience for the more natural, anti-aging solutions. I think you can all agree that times have changed. Today it’s common to treat clients with Botox, fillers, and threading. Some clients are more educated and for those who are not, I would tell them that a quick fix alone can’t smooth out large pores, reduce spots, scars, and lifeless skin. The combination of natural with advanced treatments can work together for the best outcome.

I have always sought innovative, anti-aging treatments to offer my clients. Their desire to look ageless has kept me exploring for more effective solutions. There is a lot of competition, from quick-fix to home treatments and clients are looking for the next best thing. To set myself apart, I chose to invest in what I think will continue to grow.

Red Carpet Facial Created Love of Technology In Beauty

Do you recall the “Red Carpet” facial? The non-surgical facelift without pain and downtime. It was the most significant buzz in the industry. The manufacturer couldn’t make them fast enough due to the demands. I think that it is when the SPA world changed and since then, the industry has exploded, not only for professionals but for consumers. There are so many devices available to address all skin concerns and it can be overwhelming but microcurrent in its category will remain strong.

Winning Results For Using Technology In Beauty

For the past 15 years, all of my facials have included a combination of different modules of using devices to help repair, correct, and rejuvenate the skin. Most importantly, I want clients to love the look of instant results, yet still, feel the long-term effect.

I believe beauty devices are the future and encourage aestheticians to take advantage of the current trend. They can enhance the facial results in less time and clients are more willing to pay for an innovative facial.” Julie

Don’t be afraid to explore what works best for you and your clients. Do your research and if budget is an issue, many handheld devices cost less and, when combined, can create a powerful treatment.

This Device Delivers Results

One device I have been sharing with professionals is the Nano LIFT PRO. Japan’s advanced technology. The device offers many different features and combinations of treatments in one. It is one of my go-to devices for traveling clients and is powerful enough to tighten, tone, and rejuvenate the skin. It’s great with microdermabrasion, microneedling, and hydra facial. The device has professional strength microcurrent, RF, Blue, and Red LED Light Therapy, Sonic vibration, ION, Electroporation, thermal heat, and cooling system. I have been working with this technology for the past 5 years and it’s still my favorite add-on treatment. If you are new to using devices, the Nano PRO is one I recommend starting with.
