Protocol For Sensitive Skin Hydrodermabrasion Facial

If you have clients who have sensitive skin you know that it can be hard to find products that you can use on their skin. Many skin care professionals are happy when they find a brand that they can trust to use on clients with reactive skin. When they find brands that help clients keep their skin in a stable condition – they tend to stick with that brand.

Are we crazy to talk about hydrodermabrasion for sensitive skin?

NO!

DermaJEM’s Hydrodermabrasion Is Different

We met DermaJEM in October of 2020 and were impressed with that company and their business ethics and practices. We knew that the founders had a long history of working with devices in the skin care industry so when they told us that they had a device that would work on sensitive skin – we trusted them.

We had the privilege of working with their Anima Element and Anima Ares devices, both offer hydrodermabrasion, but these machines use a silicone tip that is ultra-gentle. We knew this would help so many sensitive skin clients – so we made an introduction to Hale & Hush – the industry leader in sensitive skin products.

Hale & Hush Did Some Research

The National Training Manager for Hale & Hush, Shawna Rocha was hesitant at first. She truly didn’t believe that there was a device that could be used on her loyal sensitive skin clients and not cause any harm. But she was open to trying the Anima Element based on our suggestion to her. She did several trial treatments on some of her most loyal clients and was 100% hooked.  She now refers to the Anima Element as “Baby Girl”, because she loves the machine so much!

The Hale & Hush Hydrodermabrasion Facial

Shawna created the protocol for the Hale & Hush Hydrodermabrasion Facial and has tested it on nearly 100 clients in her practices in both California and Washington. She’s had nothing but stellar success.

Hush Hydrate + Relief-Bio Powder

This protocol provides the esthetician with tools to cool and calm the skin after performing the hydrodermabrasion with the silicone tips.  Hale & Hush have added their Hush Hydrate with Relief-Bio Powder to the protocol.  Hush Hydrate is available in a back bar and a retail size.

These two products are the gold standard in calming skin and helping it find balance.

Hush Hydrate is a delicate, moisturizing formula rich in botanical extracts that are high in antioxidants and skilled inflammation fighters. Most remarkable is black rice extract, which studies have shown is a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic compound. Hush Hydrate brings peace to aggravated skin.

Relief-Bio Powder, An expert blend of eight botanical extracts makes Relief Bio-Powder a powerful dermatologist-tested sensitive skin aid. With fast-acting abilities, it quickly rescues skin under attack from redness, irritation, and itchiness. Relief Bio-Powder also helps conceal redness and, when water is added to make a paste, becomes a soothing mask.
