“Supporting women in our industry has always been a passion of ours. Now more than ever, it is an important time to support our sisters in wellness and provide them with tools and strategies to lead and to thrive personally and professionally. The pandemic has had a huge negative impact on women, both at work and at home. We plan to create a day that will inspire and motivate women and help them as they navigate these trying times while working to forward their careers and entrepreneurial aspirations and create a work-life balance that helps them thrive.”
The Women In Leadership Summit will be inclusive of women from every aspect of wellness and will include:
- Spa owners, directors, executives, estheticians, cosmetologists, and massage therapists
- Salon owners, directors, and stylists
- Wellness brand founders and team members
- Corporate wellness administrators and human resource directors

“For so many, wellness feels like an unattainable goal. We want to make it more accessible and inclusive of all women. There is so much we can learn from each other and from various cultures throughout the world. In our fast-paced and constantly connected society, it’s easy to lose sight of what it means to live a healthy, balanced, and joyful life. This summit is an opportunity to define wellness on our own terms and reconnect with what’s truly important to our wellbeing.”
Keller Callaghan and Mikesell have a long history of supporting women in wellness.
During their tenure at American Spa, they launched the prestigious Women in Wellness Awards, as well as the American Spa Women in Wellness Leadership Conferences. They also received an ISPA Innovate Award in 2018 for their work with women in leadership.
