Sydney offers some basic treatments such as relaxing European-style facials and waxing. Meet Sydney Cooper, DMK International’s Featured Esthetician
I started esthetician school when I was 20 years old, mainly because it sounded fun and easy. Back then, partying was my top priority! Going into it, I never imagined it would become my passion, my obsession, my business and my whole life.
Right after I graduated school in 2016, I worked at Hand and Stone. A year in, I got sober and discovered my love for skincare and my passion for improving people’s skin and confidence. I launched my business in August 2019, working two days a week out of my friend’s waxing studio and the other five days at Hand and Stone.
Six months later, I got my first lease in a rundown basement office. Then COVID hit, and I had to close up shop and work at a bakery while selling skincare on Instagram. Once things reopened, I moved to the main floor of the same building, which felt like a huge upgrade! By April 2021, I was finally able to quit Hand and Stone to focus entirely on my business.
Fast forward to now, I’m in a fancy, big girl office building with an elevator, feeling incredibly grateful for my journey and the clients who supported me. I can’t wait to continue growing and doing what I love.”
