Sun protection needs to be become an essential part of everyday life! There are staggering statistics from Skincancer.org and CDC.gov about skin cancer and the use of SPF by Americans that are a cause for great concern!
In observing the people in our world, we found that most don’t wear SPF at all and those that do, wear it when planning to spend time being in direct sun light. This made us dig into the subject and we found, statistics supported our assumptions. This is why we created the #SPF365 Campaign!

We want to thank Skincancer.org and CDC.gov for their statistics on skin cancer and the use of SPF / Sunscreen / Sun protection. These numbers are staggering. To realize that only 10% of high school students report wearing sun protection while 23% of your lifetime sun exposure happens before the age of 18 means that 1/4 of your uva and uvb rays are totally unprotected!
The number of senior citizens diagnosed with skin cancer is huge! This is especially distressing when you know that the skin’s ability to heal and regenerate at such an advanced age is diminished.
