The percentage of DHA in a solution determines the level of tan. Lower % of DHA , the longer the product needs to remain on the skin. Products with higher the percentages of DHA don’t need to remain on the skin as long.

This collection of 5 shades has a high percentage of DHA, the solution only needs to remain on the skin for between 1 to 4 hours before showering. Larae started The Bronze Lily back in 2013 after working for a local tanning salon. The corporate world took Larae on a different path; however, she never put down her spray tan machine. Thus, her calling and passion for all things sunless returned her back to her spray tanning business in 2019. With business in full swing and a license in clinical skincare, enter a 3-year-old French bulldog, who needed a new home and mommy.
Lily has become the apple of Larae’s eye and settled into her new major role as the “Lily” of the business ~ fitting with her white fur and bronze little spots all over.
Barry’s Review of Breeze Products Spray Tanning
I had never had a spray tan before so I had no idea what to do to prepare for it. I spoke with Ashley from Breeze Products the day before my service and she reviewed the following list with me:
- Do NOT Shave – you can potentially end up with dots where the solution seeps into the pores.
- Do NOT apply anything to the skin – this can prevent the solution from absorbing.
- Wear loose fitting clothes
- Do NOT aggressively exfoliate the skin. The DHA needs to be able to absorb into the keratin in order to provide the “tan”.
I loved the experience.
I wore my speedo but Larae says that she’ll spray tan most clients wearing nothing so they get tan all over.
I stepped onto foot shaped paper with sticky tape – so that as I moved around during the spray tan service I didn’t get solution on the soles of my feet, which could cause them to turn color.
Larae applied cream to the palm of my hands and my cuticles to prevent them from getting tanned. She also checked my elbows and knees for rought/dry skin. She told me that anywhere there is dry skin, it will absorb abnormally high levels of DHA and get darker than the rest of the skin.
The entire service took about 15 min, and then I let it dry and got dressed and left. I left the solution on for 3 hours.
I woke up the next day with a gorgeous tan that I LOVE!
