Marshmallow Root and 15 other botanicals that can detoxify and rejuvenate the skin!
Nature designed nutrient rich botanicals for healthy, glowing skin. They offer a complete health and beauty package. Whole plants are powerful with full spectrum nutrition, and result in radiant, hydrated, illuminated, renewed, brighter, balanced, and nourished skin.
Our skin is the largest organ of assimilation and elimination, therefore what we put on our face & body is essential to our well-being.
As Seasons change, so does our skin and hair. Leaving Winter behind from exposure to indoor heaters, changing humidity and wind that can actually make our skin chapped, cracked and flaky, it is the perfect time to transition our skincare routine for Spring. Spring is a time to detoxify, rehydrate, exfoliate, and fortify, with greater attention to our body-mind-spirit through self-care both inside & out.

Spring Detoxification – Cleansing and Exfoliation. Stimulating the Lymphatic System
Face
Burdock Root Milky Oats, Comfrey
Begin and end each day by cleansing, which is essential to healthy skin. Start with Calendula Crème Cleanser, Chamomile Facial Gel Cleanser, or Lavandin Cleansing Milk, with Burdock Root, Milky Oats, and Comfrey. Massage gently in small circular motions, then rinse your face while going back and forth between cold and warm water as this will moisturize, hydrate and stimulate blood flow(lymph).
Rose, Rose Geranium
Follow with a Hydrosol Toner to lock in moisture. Rose, Rose Geranium, or Rosemary Hydrosol & Toner provide unique hydrating benefits while balancing pH, and quenching the skin, leaving it nourished and rejuvenated.
Marshmallow Root, Rosehips
While your face and neck are still damp from the Hydrosol Toner, apply Azulene Reparative Eye Crème, Cellular Renewal Complex for extra hydration, and finish with a luxurious crème, consisting of either Althea Rejuvenating Moisture Crème with Marshmallow Root, or Rosehips Ultra C Moisture Crème, with Rosehips which has the highest source of whole Vitamin C.
Once or twice a week, gently exfoliate with Illuminating Facial Polish which stimulates the lymphatics and improves the skin while bringing it back into balance whether you or dry or congested. (1/3 of our lymphatics exist in the face and neck).
Tumeric
For a deeper exfoliating treatment, you can use Advanced Alpha Hydroxy Gel Mask, which is abundant in fruit acids, and nourishing botanicals such as Licorice Root and Turmeric which will gently stimulate collagen production for silky smooth skin and a healthy glow.
To add to your nighttime regime, and aid your skin in rejuvenating while you sleep, apply Midnight Bloom (Golden Jojoba) which is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that stimulate cell regeneration.
Hands & Feet
Massage the reflexes on your hands with Protective Hand Creme and your feet with Peppermint Foot Scrub and Peppermint Foot Lotion. While massaging your hands and feet, you will be opening up congested centers that have been stagnant and this will restore health & vitality.
Body
In the shower, exfoliate your body with a gentle but invigorating creamy Rose Geranium Body Polish with a Shea Butter base and pumice polish. This stimulates blood flow and lymphatics while smoothing the skin. You can use either a washcloth or loofah sponge, or apply directly to your body by massaging in.
To remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation and lymph flow, you may dry brush before showering or bathing, which produces an invigorating effect in the morning and increases relaxation at night. In conjunction with a sauna or steam, dry brushing promotes even more thorough cleansing through the skin. You can add one to two drops of Rosemary Verbenone Essential Oil or Lavender Essential Oil to the palm of your hand and glide the dry brush over the palm to saturate the bristles before dry brushing.
To dry brush, use gentle, light strokes, starting at the soles of your feet and move upwards. Brush towards the heart, upwards on the limbs, and downwards on the chest and upper back. Brush clockwise around your belly and spend extra time on any stagnant areas such as your inner thighs or underarms. The whole process should take about two to five minutes. The exfoliating effects of dry brushing allow botanical body lotions and seed and nut (Kukui) oils to penetrate the skin more effectively, while hydrating and supporting circulation.
