“Organic Laser Peel.” Lincoln Lee, Director Of Global Operations for Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills. This was the response that stopped us dead in our tracks!
Here’s what happened! We reached out to Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills Director of Global Operations, Lincoln Lee, and asked him if DBH had anything new and different for resurfacing. He responded that they were launching a new peel and that we would love it. He said, “It’s called the Organic Laser Peel!”
We instantly knew the L+A readers would love this!
Lincoln Lee Announces All-New Organic Laser Peel
“We have the all-new Organic Laser Peel, it uses three acids, herbal extracts, and essential oils to give estheticians the ability to deliver a SAFE laser-like resurfacing for all Fitzpatrick levels. This level of resurfacing has historically been associated with conventional laser procedures. -Lincoln Lee of Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
“Um, hello – acids – herbs and essential oils? Combine the best of science and nature and then give estys the ability to control the delivery? Now, we’re really interested!” Jenni + Barry
Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills has developed a notably gentler approach and minimal downtime for skin types that have historically been more susceptible to certain risks, such as Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH), keloid formation, and darkening, this peel works safely and effectively to induce a degree of flakiness or peeling in all Fitzpatrick skin types. The success and key to the peel is the safety and results that reveal itself so quickly in the process of renewing the skin. Rather than simply relying on the acid ingredients of merely peeling, the Organic Laser Peel simultaneously aims to nourish and replenish the entire skin layers while exfoliating.
We asked to see The Organic Laser Peel protocol. We dug into it and pulled out all the really cool professsional products that we knew you’d love! We broke down into 4 steps for you below AND Jenni went to town on her Mother-In-Law to test out this bad boy!
- Step 1 Clinical Cleansing
- Step 2 Use of Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls
- Step 3 Use of the Ageless Peel
- Step 4 Use of Serums and SPF
Jenni was so excited to be able to work with the Organic Laser Peel and to share her experience with the Organic Laser Peel.
What’s Inside The Organic Laser Peel by Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
We asked Lincoln to tell us more about this peel!
Here’s what he had to say, “It’s a meticulous blend of micro-refined sea herbal extracts and essential oils combined with a Lactic and Glycolic Acid, Vitamin A-enriched peel aimed to address concerns including dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and discoloration/hyperpigmentation.
Suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types, this alternative to invasive laser peeling enhances skin texture, promotes healthy cell turnover, and restores even skin tone.” Lincoln Lee
We were so thrilled to hear that this treatment is great for all Fitzpatrick levels! The L+A community is literally EVERYONE – so the treatments we feature should be for EVERYONE!
Organic Laser Peel’s 4 Steps
Step 1 Clinical Cleansing™
The Organic Laser Peel begins with a double cleanse using their Green Apple Premium Cleansing Oil followed by the Professional Pre Peel Cleanser. Then the protocol directs the esthetician to use the GA 30 Exfoliator, which we’ve seen before and we asked the DBH team to give us a little more information on why we love this so much!
Here’s what they had to say, “The GA 30 Exfoliator is an important step in our clinical cleansing step. It’s q gentle but strong Glycolic Acid 30% formulated to help break up the desmosomes in the stratum corneum giving us a clean surface so that our peel goes on evenly.” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
We love this and now you know that the skin is truly ready to be taken to another level.
Step 2 of the Organic Laser Peel uses Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls
This step incorporates the Calming Nourishing Mask, RX Mist, and Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls. The protocol directs the esthetician to open 2-3 capsules of the Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls. The number of capsules is dependent on the size of the face. The directions continue with the instruction to apply to the face very gently in a circular motion for 12–15 minutes.
We had a few questions for Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills. The first question we asked was, “Are the Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls a spicule peel?”
Here’s what they told us.
“If you are asking if this peel is poky and prickly, the answer is yes and no. The peel does have ingredients that will physically penetrate the epidermal layers of the skin but these “pricklies” will self-dissolve completely within 48-72 hours.” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
Then we asked if the esthetician has to wear gloves during the application of the Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls?
Here’s what they told us.
“If you are asking if this peel is poky and prickly, the answer is yes and no. The peel does have ingredients that will physically exfoliate the epidermal layers of the skin but these “pricklies” will self-dissolve organically.” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
Then we asked, “Why do we need to apply the Cellular Nourishing Mask?”
Here’s what they told us.
“The Cellular Nourishing Mask is a near 100% organic cocoa mask with natural ingredients formulated to help reduce parts of the inflammatory process without hindering the keratinization process of the skin peel.” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
Step 3 of Organic Laser Peel uses the Ageless Peel
We know the treatment description lists a number of acids. We wanted to see which of those acids are in the Ageless Peel, so we asked Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills.
“The Ageless Peel is a blend of Vitamin A, Lactic Acid, and Salicylic Acid. It’s great for more mature skin and helps in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, and promotes healthy cell turnover. This propriety blend of acids and ingredients delivers an impactful and gentle exfoliation focusing on reducing the release of melanin-secreting hormones (MSH)” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
Step 4 of Organic Laser Peel uses Serums and SPF
The protocol for the Organic Laser Peel is concluded with a Recovery Step. The esty is instructed to “Apply C-Lester Topical Vitamin C20 Serum and massage into the skin. Then apply, “Apple EGF FGF DNA UV shield with tapotement style. If desired, apply the EGF Blemish Balm.” Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills
We asked, “Is the C-Lester Topical Vitamin C20 Serum necessary?”
Here’s what they had to say.
“Yes. The C-Lester Topical Vitamin C20 Serum is one of our best-selling products because of the trade secret stability of the natural chirally correct 20% L-ascorbic acid that is in the serum. Vitamin C is one of the only vitamins that our body cannot produce and being formed with an L protein, the skin and cells are better able to absorb and utilize the vitamin C for health and turnover.”
Jenni’s Experience with Organic Laser Peel
“I feel polished!” ~ Christine, Jenni’s client that received the Organic Laser Peel.
This multi-step, massage-focused treatment leaves your client’s skin undeniably polished. After the Clinical Cleansing, you can be assured there is not a trace of makeup or oil left on the skin. This is because not only do you pre-cleanse, but the Pre Peel Cleanser does a great job of removing every trace of product on the skin without over-drying. Then, using the GA 30 Exfoliator takes it one step further to ensure Layers 1 and 2 of the protocol are working at their maximum capacity.
The Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls contain a dark liquid substance, with a “sea fresh” aroma and a sandy consistency. We used 3 pearls, which was adequate for her face and neck. Christine explained the feeling of “sand, not sharp, but gritty”. The consistency remained for the entire 12-minute massage.
This is not at all like a traditional spicule peel; it was more like a super-fine microdermabrasion scrub.
We then layered on the Cellular Nourishing Mask, which aided in absorbing the herbal components of the Sea Herbal Exfoliating Pearls – because once we removed both layers, there was zero debris left on the skin.
This is a huge perk! When working with any exfoliating substance that contains a mechanical exfoliating property, it can be a nightmare to ensure every speck or granule is gone. This was spotless!
We then misted with the RX Mist and applied the Ageless Peel for 20 minutes. This peel was light in texture, yellow in color, and had a very light fragrance. Christine felt no sensations or discomfort.
After removal, we applied the RX Mist, C-Lester Topical Vitamin C-20 Serum, and UV Shield.
Christine’s skin looked firm, polished, and glowing!
