Being in Ft. Lauderdale in October doesn’t suck! It’s warm. It’s sunny. It’s near the ocean. It’s warm. It’s got beautiful palm trees. It’s warm.
You get it! We’re happy it’s warm. It’s in the 30’s in our home town of Philadelphia, as we have dinner outside in the Marina watching the sunset. We’re just loving being in Ft Lauderdale for the International Esthetics Cosmetics & Spa Conference!

Big News! The first ever L+A Favs Awards were announced at this show! We were so proud to tell several of the winners in person at this show!
WE CAME TO TEACH
It’s not all Rosé and Relaxing Facials (…Jenni!) at the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference (IECSC). We are presenting two classes, Trends in Organic Beauty & Stop Treating Instagram Like Facebook. Our classes are only part of the expansive list of classes that the IECSC offers at their shows.
Education
The IECSC offers 5 separate tracks of learning: Targeted Learning, Advanced Education Workshops, Advanced Business Seminar, Spa Journeys with American Spa. They also have an entire track provided by CIDESCO USA, lead by Lydia Sarfati, Chairman of CIDESCO Section U.S.A, and Mark Lees PhD, M.S., Susanne Schmaling, and Andrea Gregaydis.
Exhibit Hall Education
With over 200 vendors exhibiting at the Ft Lauderdale Conference, education isn’t just confined to the classrooms. There’s education happening on the the floor of the exhibit hall. Many vendors set up treatment demonstrations at their booth and offer intimate trainings where attendees can interact with educators.
We’re In The “People” Business
The old saying, “I’m a people person…” Well spa folks are all about the people! There’s so much networking and connections happening at these shows. Your net worth is determined by your network! Bring business cards, wear comfortable shoes and get out there and make some new connections!
