L+A Is Turning 10, and We’re Celebrating All Year Long

Ten years. That feels slightly impossible to type.

In 2017, L+A started with a pretty simple idea: medical + spa aesthetics professionals deserved a place where they could discover what was new, understand why it mattered, and learn directly from the people actually moving this industry forward.

Apparently, we had a lot to talk about.

We’ve Come A Long Way From Neon Pink + Blue

In 2027, L+A officially celebrates 10 years of covering the people, brands, treatments, technologies, education and breakthroughs shaping medical + spa aesthetics. And instead of celebrating by sitting quietly at our desks and reminiscing about the last decade, which does not sound remotely like us, we are packing our passports.

Throughout the year, we will travel to major industry events and destinations around the world, bringing our audience along for the ride with the news, interviews, education, discoveries and slightly sleep-deprived show-floor coverage you have come to expect from us.

But the passport stamps are only part of what is coming.

For our 10th anniversary, we are also creating six new ways to bring you closer to the education, events, people, conversations and innovations shaping medical + spa aesthetics.

Consider 2027 officially upgraded.

The 2027 L+A Global Passport Decade Tour

For years, some of our favorite L+A stories have started with a plane ticket.

We have walked trade show floors, sat in classrooms, interviewed doctors and educators, tested treatments, visited brands, discovered technologies and occasionally survived on coffee while trying to figure out how we were going to cover everything happening around us.

In 2027, that global coverage becomes an official year-long journey.

The point is not collecting passport stamps.

The point is access.

You Don’t Need the Plane Ticket

One of the biggest reasons we travel is because we know most medical + spa aesthetics professionals cannot attend every conference, launch, training and industry event.

Neither can we, technically, but apparently we enjoy trying.

Our job is to get into those rooms and bring the important conversations back to you. That means more interviews, show-floor discoveries, clinical insight, product and device news, educator conversations and reporting on what professionals should actually be paying attention to.

Our approach to medical aesthetics education has always gone beyond simply telling you that something new exists. We want to help you understand why it matters, where it fits and whether it deserves a place on your radar.

That philosophy gets much bigger in 2027.

6. Voices of L+A
We love social – so we’ll have messages from around the world on the changing industry.

For our 10th anniversary, we’re creating six new ways to bring you closer to the education, events, people, conversations and innovations shaping medical + spa aesthetics.

Yes, our 2027 Passport partners are helping make many of these initiatives possible. For the past decade, the support of our brand partners has helped L+A travel, create content, and connect professionals around the world with the people and innovations moving this industry forward.

But what we’re building is ultimately for you.

More access. More practical education. More voices. More reporting from the industry’s biggest events. And more opportunities to understand where medical + spa aesthetics is going before it gets there.

Here’s what’s coming.

1. More Global Coverage: The L+A Decade Destination Tour

Expect discoveries from the show floor, interviews, product and device launches, treatment trends, education, conversations with industry leaders and our perspective on what is actually worth paying attention to.

Some of our Passport partners will help make that travel possible through Destination partnerships. These partnerships are specifically designed to support L+A’s global coverage and help us bring those destinations to our community.

They help get us there.

We bring you inside.

And because we will be covering multiple corners of the industry throughout the year, our medical aesthetics education will increasingly reflect what professionals, educators, physicians, brands and innovators are talking about around the world.

2. More Webinar Education You Can Actually Use: L+A Practice Playbook

Knowing something is interesting.

Knowing what to do with it Monday morning is better.

That’s the thinking behind the new L+A Practice Playbook, our monthly educational series launching in 2027.

Throughout the year, we’ll explore treatment integration, patient care, consultation strategies, clinical protocols, business growth, emerging innovations and other issues affecting today’s medical + spa aesthetic practices.

Most importantly, this is being designed for the people actually doing the work: estheticians, nurses, physicians, practice managers, and medical spa owners.

The goal is practical education that helps you build better treatment systems, improve client and patient experiences, strengthen relationships and make smarter decisions inside your business.

This is medical aesthetics education with a practice-first mentality.

We want you to leave a session with ideas you can actually use, not 47 screenshots of slides you’ll promise yourself you’ll revisit later.

Monthly. Relevant. Actionable.

That’s the Playbook.

3. A Look Back That Helps Us Look Forward: The L+A Decade Editorial Series

A lot has happened since 2017.

Treatment philosophies changed. Technology exploded. Regenerative aesthetics entered the conversation. Devices became increasingly sophisticated. Skincare and medical aesthetics became far more intertwined.

Throughout 2027, we’re going to unpack all of it.

Our special 10 Year Anniversary Editorial Series will examine five major areas: the founding partners who were part of L+A’s earliest years, the evolution of modern skincare, global leaders influencing aesthetics worldwide, the innovation revolution and the next generation of emerging brands shaping what comes next.

The point isn’t nostalgia.

We want to use 10 years of perspective to help you understand what changed, what stuck, what disappeared and what the last decade may tell us about the next one.

Because there is a big difference between chasing what’s new and understanding how an industry evolves.

Our medical aesthetics education in 2027 will do both.

4. Media Partnerships for Better Access to the Events You Can’t Attend

There are more medical + spa aesthetics conferences, summits, retreats and educational events than ever.

Your PTO, unfortunately, did not expand accordingly.

Our expanded L+A Event Media Partnerships will allow us to bring more of those events directly to our audience throughout 2027.

These partnerships are designed to begin before an event, continue while it is happening and extend the conversation after everyone has packed up the booths and gone home. L+A’s coverage can include event information, registration access, interviews, social coverage and ongoing editorial and educational content.

For you, that means a better way to discover which events deserve your attention, learn who will be there, follow what is happening and catch up on conversations you may have missed.

And when L+A is there in person, expect us to do what we do best.

Walk everywhere. Ask questions. Find interesting people. Discover things we weren’t expecting. And report back.

You may not be able to be everywhere.

L+A would apparently like to try.

5. Faster Conversations With the People Moving the Industry: FULL Volume

Some conversations do not need 60 minutes and 73 PowerPoint slides.

Enter FULL Volume: L+A Conversations.

This new video-first series will feature quick, energetic conversations with physicians, global industry leaders, educators, innovators, industry partners, trade show organizers and other people shaping medical + spa aesthetics.

The format is intentionally fast. Expect approximately 10 to 20-minute conversations with voices from the United States, Europe, Asia, South America and beyond.

We’re interested in the questions everyone is asking, the questions nobody is asking and occasionally the question that makes our guest stop for a second before answering.

FULL Volume also gives us another way to expand medical aesthetics education beyond traditional webinars and articles.

You get access to smart people.

We get to ask them things.

Everybody wins.

6. Voices of L+A in the Next Decade

This one might be our favorite.

We’re celebrating 10 years of L+A, but we don’t want 2027 to become one long conversation about us.

We’d much rather talk about where all of us are going.

Throughout the year, we’ll create a global social video series featuring voices from across medical + spa aesthetics. We’ll ask what has changed, what matters now, what people value about industry coverage and, most importantly, what they are excited about for the next decade.

The anniversary campaign will bring together voices from the United States, Europe, Asia, South America and beyond, asking people not only to reflect on L+A’s first decade but to share what they want to see from the industry and from L+A in the years ahead. Those insights will help inform our vision, content and coverage for the next decade.

For our audience, we’re thinking of it as an industry time capsule for 2027.

Doctors. Estheticians. Nurses. Educators. Founders. Innovators. Industry leaders. And yes, we want to hear from the professionals who read, watch, attend and learn with L+A too.

What should this industry be talking about? What needs to change? What innovation are you watching? What do you want to learn next?

Ten years feels like a pretty good time to ask.

Because if L+A is going to spend the next decade covering the future of medical + spa aesthetics, the people who make up this industry should have a voice in what that coverage looks like.

And Yes, We’re Still Doing What You Already Come to L+A For

A 10-year anniversary does not mean we are abandoning the things that brought us here.

Quite the opposite.

Throughout 2027, L+A will continue delivering the industry news, product and device discoveries, treatment reviews, expert insight, brand stories, clinical perspectives and medical aesthetics education that our audience relies on.

The difference is that our Global Passport gives us an even bigger framework for finding those stories.

We want to be where the conversations are happening.

We want to meet the people developing what comes next.

We want to sit in the classrooms, walk the exhibit halls, ask the uncomfortable questions, try the treatments and occasionally look at each other after seeing something completely unexpected and say, “Well, we’re definitely writing about THAT.”

Because after 10 years, curiosity is still probably our favorite job requirement.

Ten Years Behind Us. A Very Full Passport Ahead.

When L+A launched in 2017, we could not have predicted where this industry would go.

We certainly could not have predicted where it would take us.

Ten years later, medical + spa aesthetics is more sophisticated, global, technology-driven and interconnected than ever. The professionals following L+A are asking better questions, demanding better science and looking for information that helps them make smarter decisions for their clients, patients and businesses.

That’s why 2027 isn’t simply a celebration of where L+A has been.

It’s about where all of us are going next.

The Global Passport Decade Tour, L+A Practice Playbook, Decade Editorial Series, expanded Event Media Partnerships, FULL Volume conversations and our global industry video campaign are all being built around the same idea that started L+A 10 years ago: give smart professionals access to the news, people and medical aesthetics education they need to stay ahead of what is coming.

So yes, we’re celebrating 10 years.

But mostly, we’re packing.

See you somewhere in the world in 2027.
