Inside AMWC 2025: Innovation, Regeneration, and the Future of Aesthetic Medicine

The Aesthetic Medicine World Congress (AMWC) returned to the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from March 27–29, 2025, bringing together the world’s top minds in aesthetic medicine. As one of the most prestigious global gatherings, AMWC served as a hub for cutting-edge knowledge, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the unveiling of revolutionary treatments in beauty and wellness.

Regenerative Aesthetics Takes Center Stage

One of the core themes of AMWC 2025 was regenerative aesthetics, focusing on the use of regenerative medicine to improve skin health, stimulate collagen production, and enhance natural rejuvenation. The spotlight also shined on hair growth and scalp health, with a series of forward-thinking sessions exploring solutions for hair loss and improving follicular function.

Tech-Nature: The Evolution of Botanicals in Modern Skincare

Elevate Patient Outcomes with the Power of Plant Science. Today’s botanicals aren’t just “natural”—they’re next-level. With advancements in formulation technology, time-honored plant ingredients are now precision-engineered to deliver measurable results in even the most advanced treatment protocols.

Want to help your patients achieve their skincare goals with gentler, highly effective solutions? Discover how modern science is enhancing botanical extracts to target inflammation, oxidative stress, and barrier repair—without compromising efficacy.

Sessions on facial anatomy underscored the importance of structural knowledge in safe and effective aesthetic procedures—highlighting the ongoing movement toward precision and personalization in treatments.

This year’s event stood out for its in-depth exploration of regenerative aesthetics treatments—multi-layered protocols that pair biostimulatory injectables, energy-based devices, and advanced skincare to optimize skin regeneration and long-term results. These treatments are shaping the future of aesthetic care by promoting internal cellular repair alongside external enhancement.

Groundbreaking Topics + Global Experts

Among the standout sessions was an exploration of testosterone therapy for men and perimenopausal women, discussing its safety, efficacy, and its expanding role in aesthetic and wellness medicine.

A powerful session on multi-modality regenerative approaches illustrated how combining treatments—threads, injectables, topicals, and more—can amplify results and offer tailored care.

My Role at AMWC 2025

As a Key Opinion Leader, I was honored to participate in the Relife symposium, where we introduced the Definisse range of fillers and demonstrated Definisse Revitalise threads, designed to stimulate both type I and III collagen. I also presented on Definisse KP1, the world’s first collagen modulator in skincare—bridging science and aesthetic dermatology.
