Pre-Treatment Preparation for Quantum, Morepheus8 + CO2 Laser

10 Days Prior to Treatment

“I eliminated all active ingredients from his skincare routine 10 days before the procedure to ensure my skin was in an optimal state for treatment. Day of CO2 Laser Treatment

To ensure comfort and a smooth procedure, Dr. Briglia implemented a comprehensive pain management protocol. He first administered sublingual CBD to help promote relaxation. For the QUANTUM treatment on my neck, tumescent anesthesia was used, which involved injecting a solution to numb the area and reduce swelling. To further enhance comfort for the CO2 laser treatment, Dr. Briglia applied a topical numbing cream, ensuring a more tolerable experience during the procedure.

Here’s the breakdown of the process:

1. Quantum Ignite by INMODE

Day 2 Quantum, Morpheus8 + CO2 Laser Home Care – Swollen, Red + Warm

I woke up on Day 2 with almost zero discomfort from the laser treatment itself. However, my neck was definitely sore, and I was conscious of mild pain when moving my chin too much. The warm, burning sensation intensified when I wet my skin while washing my face. Fortunately, as the day progressed, this sensation diminished everywhere except my neck.

I also noticed some overall facial swelling, but the Pink Neck Lift Compression Tool helped significantly in reducing under-chin swelling.

In the morning, my skin had a red hue, which gradually transitioned into a purple tone by midday. By nighttime, I started noticing the appearance of black spots on my skin—an expected part of the healing process.

Day 3 Post Quantum, Morpheus8 + CO2 Laser Home Care – Swollen + Crusty

I woke up to some swelling around my eye, and my skin felt very dry, very crusty, and covered in a lot of redness and black spots. The healing process was in full effect!

Morning Routine

Cleansed with lukewarm water and Hale & Hush Quiet Wash – a gentle, soothing cleanser to keep my skin calm.

Lymphatic Drainage – 5 minutes gentle massage while applying:

Abracadabra Magic Moment

One particularly amazing moment happened during my afternoon cleanse. Thank God it’s Friday! Day 5 was a Friday and I was so so amazed at how my skin reacted! The red and black crusty skin was almost all gone. What gave way was smooth skin that was very pink. There was still black crusty skin remaining and it formed a black circle around my eye because that’s where Dr Briglia really focused the energy of the CO2 laser! She hit the eyelid just below the brow and all along the occipital ridge of the eye.
